I have been a textile designer since 1986. I graduated from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst with a degree in fine art and textile design. With a background in screen-printing processes as well as hand-painted textiles, I have taught Studio Art in textile design at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst, the Seattle Art Museum, Washington, and the Cape Museum of Fine Arts, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. My exhibits include a Handmade Books Arts/Fiber show; a Conceptual Footwear exhibit on Cape Cod; several Painted Ponies exhibits at 5th St. Gallery and City Cellars as well as the annual Secret ArtWorks event, Cincinnati, OH; Europa Café and the Kentucky Horse Park, Lexington, KY and Momo's Food Emporium, East Sandwich, MA.
